VAT & DDP Delivery Policy

1. VAT & Tax Information

United States

  • Orders shipped to the United States are generally not subject to VAT.
  • Applicable state or local sales taxes may be charged based on the delivery address and local regulations.
  • Any taxes displayed at checkout will be calculated according to the shipping destination.

Germany

  • Orders shipped to Germany include the applicable VAT in the final purchase price where required by law.
  • Customers will not be required to pay additional VAT upon delivery for eligible DDP shipments.

2. Delivered Duty Paid (DDP) Shipping

DDP (Delivered Duty Paid) means that Havessacasa assumes responsibility for applicable import duties, customs charges, and related fees for eligible shipments.

For DDP orders:

  • No additional customs fees are due upon delivery
  • Customs clearance is managed by Havessacasa or our logistics partners
  • DDP service is available for orders shipped to Germany

For orders delivered within the United States, customs duties generally do not apply to domestic deliveries.

3. Delivery & Transit Time

  • Standard delivery typically takes 5–9 business days
  • Tracking information will be sent by email once the order has been dispatched
  • Delivery times may occasionally be affected by customs inspections, carrier delays, holidays, or severe weather conditions

4. Responsibilities

Havessacasa

  • Applies taxes in accordance with applicable regulations
  • Covers eligible customs duties and import charges for DDP shipments
  • Provides shipment tracking information when available

Customer

  • Must provide accurate shipping and contact information
  • Is responsible for any delays or additional costs resulting from incorrect or incomplete delivery details

5. Exceptions

  • Certain products may not qualify for DDP service due to shipping restrictions or import regulations
  • If DDP is unavailable for a particular order, customers will be notified before shipment
  • Additional verification may be required for some international orders
